Akemi Fox is one of Manchester’s most soothing alternative R&B artists to debut in recent years. Describing her sound as alternative R&B, Akemi exudes a potent combination of independence and innovation using her knowledge in music and culture to her benefit. Since the release of her first single, ‘Lemon Tea’, Akemi has found herself on her own unique path of success.
After landing her a spot on Tidal’s Rising: R&B playlist - a place for emerging artists changing the face of R&B - she’s gained a national following of fans who vibe with her unorthodox R&B vibe and youthful aesthetic.
Akemi is very much part of the remarkable DIY generation of artists coming through, stating that she writes her best lyrics freestyling over beats from her long term producer, Teo. Her discography is now one filled with emotion, divine spiritual energy and nostalgia that enthrals you upon first listen. 2021 is Akemi’s year for the masses to catch on to her majestic mix of R&B.

Emily is a British animation director whose projects usually begin with explorations into texture, colour, shape and pattern. She likes to combine different techniques such as traditional photographic processing, print and mark-making.
Her graduation film was shown at 30+ international festivals, converted into four installations and was Finalist for 'Best Student Film' at the biennial British Animation Awards 2018.
